2025
Midcoast Maine singer-songwriter Torin Muccino is proud to announce that his new EP “Parade”, his fourth release since 2018, will drop March 1, 2025 on all music streaming platforms and on physical CD exclusively at Bull Moose in Maine and New Hampshire and at Bullmoose.com. Muccino began playing guitar and writing songs when he was 16 years old and, after a stint in Austin Texas (where he landed a role as an extra on AMC’s hit TV show “The Son”), he’s now returned with fresh new takes on his signature style of highly expressive vocals and thought-provoking lyricism. The new four song EP was engineered, mixed and mastered at Evergreen Studio in Bath by his dad Chris Muccino, a veteran of the Maine music scene (with Liquid Daydream, Endless Interstate, Forest City & Friends and most recently, Human Moods) and it features Maine music stalwarts Mike Chasse, Greg Goodwin and Hamilton Belk on drums, bass and pedal steel, respectively. The new tracks all feature Torin’s expressive guitar, vocals and harmonica along with his father’s keyboard and synth contributions.
A native Mainer, Muccino grew up in a music oriented family in Bath and Wiscasset and he was exposed early on to music in all genres, with strong influences from his father's various projects. Throughout the years, Muccino became inspired by artists like Cage the Elephant, Portugal the Man, Alt-J, Elliot Smith, My Morning Jacket, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. Looking for artistic adventures and broadening his life experiences, Torin decided to travel across the country in late summer 2017, ready to explore other realms of creative expression and shortly after settling in Austin, Muccino landed a role in a Los Angeles-based music-video shoot, which led to a role as an extra on “The Son.” He eventually returned to Maine and with “Parade” he makes his latest mark on the vibrant Maine music scene. His previous releases, "Live From Maine” (2021), “Adeline" (2020), and "For The Times” (2018) are all available on the major streaming services.
